Called, set up a delivery for 6 tons of river rock, and 5 yards of mulch for next day delivery. Credit card information was taken, was given a specific quote twice $1057. I specifically asked the question if that was the correct price, 3 times. I was told yes by Joe. A few hours go by, I got a call back saying he misquoted and now it will be an additional $400. I said the quote is binding. He told me to take my business elsewhere when I asked if they would work with the price since he was in the wrong and then he hung up on me. I called back and asked to speak with Matt, the other guy, he answered and said, mistakes happen we don't have to eat the cost because WE made a mistake. Stay clear of the price gouging business that does not honor their binding deals.Edit to reply:The "updated" quote was almost $400 not $292. Furthermore, in my review I stated credit card information was taken. You specifically said "we cannot eat the cost because WE made a mistake". I did not make the mistake, you and your brother did. I clarified 3 times before getting off the phone. Yes, mistakes happen, but you didn't even offer anything for an over 20% (as you stated) mistake. I asked THREE times if the price was correct and even said are you sure that's right, all to which the reply was yes. Then I gave my cc information including email at which point it was binding. Mistake or not, hanging up on a customer and telling them "we don't have to eat the cost because we made a mistake" is horrendous customer service.
